Job Description

Presley Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a well-known Japanese restaurant that has been expanding their business overseas. They have over 65 restaurants in Japan and operate globally in places such as Singapore, Korea, New York, Taiwan, China, Australia and Hong Kong. Our respected client is looking for a Head of Operation (Indonesia). 

 

Job Descriptions:

- Optimize the market results in the areas of Sales, Profit, Quality and People (in the context of: customer satisfaction, good people practices, good business practices, and within the policies and procedures set forth by the company).
- Coach and develop the Store Managers and Area Managers to enhance the Operations programmes.
- Keep abreast of the emerging market trends and continuously assess the viability within  the Company's structure.   
- Strategize on operational improvement plans in accordance to finance and marketing.
- Manage sanitation, service, productivity, and quality.
- Manage all aspects of human resource, including hiring, training, scheduling for store operations.
- Create and be required to operate within efficient labour budgets for each season, tracking labour spending and providing input regarding capital projects and initiatives.
- Work, and develop relationships, with external suppliers to ensure the very best reputation within the industry, and receives the service required to ensure that the operational Food and Beverage team can deliver the highest quality product, and the highest financial return.
- Constantly review the product range to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained (Implement new menu items that will increase customer satisfaction and perception of value).
- Report to Country Manager.
- Set the direction for the Operations Department and to establish the Long Term Vision.

 

Job Requirements:

- At least 6 years retail/ F&B experience, with a minimum 3 years in a managerial position.
- Have capability to work in a start-up business.
- Experience at a famous restaurant chain with multiple profit centres and middle-up class audience is an advantage.
- Have managerial experience in handling operations for multiple restaurants.
- Have great leadership ability (proven motivator).
- Incredible good business acumen.
- Experience in Japanese cuisine is preferred.
